Uncarina Fruits

The flowers of the Uncarina species are rather striking. Usually yellow they will light any garden. Also striking and unusal, are the fruits produced. These spine like appendages should never be tackled with bare hands, unless you want an injury. The fruits need at least six months to mature. Eventually, they would turn brown and fall off the trees, which mean the seeds are ready for germination..
